LUXSOLAR, leading manufacturer of LED Aircraft Warning Lights (LED), was founded in 2001 by Vincenzo Di Giovine, CEO of Combustion and Energy Srl that since 1988 manufactures and installs all over the world equipments for chemical and petrochemical plants.
"Working in hazardous areas, with elevated temperatures and high explosion risks, I noticed that a reliable, modern, long-life lighting/warning system was necessary. For this reason in 2001 I founded the lighting department of Combustion and Energy: LUXSOLAR."
Aircraft Warning Lights are used to warn the presence of high buildings: skyscrapers, towers, chimneys, wind generators, offshore platforms, etc.; ensuring a safe air navigation.
Since its foundation, LUXSOLAR department is a whirlwind of ideas that lead to innovative patents: "The first step was search an alternative lighting source to incandescence and Xenon (not able to satisfy the long-life and reliability needs of the market). To give our customers a new and innovative warning system we started in 2005 using LED."
"In 2011 thanks to an intense activity of Research and Development and to the collaboration with Research Centers and Universities we have become the first company in the world that manufactures an high intensity LED AWL with 360° LEDs and in 2012 we are the sole company that can provide humidity-resistant LED beacons thanks to a secret inertization process."
